Simon Fraser University’s Goldcorp Centre for the Arts is located in the Woodward’s mixed-use redevelopment. The Woodward’s redevelopment comprises a full city block and is located between Abbott Street and Cambie Street, with Hastings Street to the south and Cordova Street to the north
Situated in the centre of Vancouver’s historical district, the city’s oldest neighbourhoods—Chinatown, Gastown, and the Downtown Eastside—are all only steps away.
The Goldcorp Centre for the Arts is a ten-minute walk from Vancouver’s transportation hub, Waterfront Station, where SkyTrain, SeaBus, Canada Line and West Coast Express stations transport riders to all parts of metro Vancouver and beyond. City buses run directly from Waterfront Station to the Hastings Street entrance of the Goldcorp Centre for the Arts. The building can be entered from the Hastings Street entrance or from the Cordova Street courtyard of the Woodward’s redevelopment, which can be identified by the iconic red W that rotates above the Woodward’s atrium space
