Milan Design Week 2013: Product Launch – Bojka at Rossana Orlandi – The design studio Bojka, based in Beirut, which creates furniture and artistic installations using a variety of vintage and contemporary fabrics, will be showing a new collection entitled Migration at Spazio Rossana Orlandi during the Milan Design Week.
Established in 2000, Bojka is an expression of respect and love for an age-old culture and aesthetic with a human approach. The concept stands for a poetic use of color, an emphasis on craftsmanship and the sustainable use of available materials to express an artistic idea with an ever-present spiritual content.
Hoda Baroudi and Maria Hibri, the design duo, share a common love for antiques and vintage furniture, as well as a passion for ancient textiles and tapestries from the Levant and countries along the Silk Road.

Gallery Rossana Orlandi was opened in 2002 in a former tie Factory in the Magenta neighbor , Galleria Rossana Orlandi has been forecasting along the years new and upcoming designers and establishing the premise as one of the most revered platform for avant-garde Design and Lifestyle. Started her activity focusing on the rising dutch design wave with designers such Piet Hein Eek, Maarten Baas and Nacho Carbonell the research has moved widely around the world creating a catalog which reflects the most innovative scenes from Europe to Asia to America.
The space is articulated in a not traditional way mixing together, showroom, a retail store, offices and a courtyard for events and meeting with no boundaries between the different activities.
Galleria Rossana Orlandi has also revolutionized the way to present design art pieces, showing them always in real ambiances, displayed together with different kind of products to recreate real houses situations and, taking advantage of the structure of the gallery itself composed by different rooms on different floor, all winding around a blooming courtyard.
The Space itself also became a perfect location for corporate and cultural events with different possibilities in terms of ambiances, installations and contents.
