After a three-year closure for restauration, the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum finally re-opened.
The new Cooper Hewitt museum in New York City is now once again a must-to-visit place. Side by side with its renowned neighbors in Fifth Avenue, like Guggenheim and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the expectation is that in the next months the restored and expanded place becomes once again a popular place to attend.
The museum visitors are invited to walk through the galleries,to take part in the activities made for the community, to lounge in the beatiful garden,to visit the café and the gift shop among other things. Installed in Andrew Carnegie’s 19th century picture gallery, this facilities can be accessed for free. At the museum you can also experience the 21st century, with 3D designs, digital wallpapers and many other digital devices that are at a touch of a finger distance. A traditional museum mixed with high-tech devices which will certainly mesmerize every visitor.
