Floating Umbrellas at Agitagueda Art Festival – For the second year in a row, an installation of dozens of multicolor umbrellas has been created in the streets of Agueda, Portugal.
The city council commissioned the display, which is part of the local Agitagueda Art Festival that can be seen until 28th of July.
Portuguese design firm Sextafeira created this stunning installation to turn traditional shopping streets into a colorful and exciting visual experience. Like last year, photographer Patrícia Almeida has captured some great shots, giving everyone a chance to take a virtual walk in the most colorful street of Portugal.

This makes one more wonderful reason to go to Portugal! It is a beautiful, slow moving country filled with friendly people, mosaics on the sidewalks, delicious typical pastel de nata pastries, large beaches and a good train system to go up the Lisbon to Porto coast.

You cannot loose this art installation in Águeda, Portugal! It´s so agreeable and lively! So funny and pleasant to walk in Águeda streets under “umbrella’s sky”. People are so friendly and the traditional cakes so appetizing! Don’t miss it, please.
