Moreover DMY hosts this year the official German Design Award “Designpreis der Bundesrepublik Deutschland” for the first time. The Prize is considered the Germany’s most prestigious design award.
Reflecting current and future trends, a symposium, designer talks and lectures additionally offer the possibility to discuss and learn about emerging design practices. Supplementing the central exhibitions at about 50 galleries, museums and open studios will invite the festival visitors to discover showcases throughout the city.
A day ticket costs between 12€ and 16€, without discount and it gives you access to all exibitions.
