Boca do Lobo is looking foward to 100% Design 2012, the UK’s leading and most visited contemporary design event. 100% Design is in its 18th year and is set to be the most successful ever staged. Last years event attracted over 18,000 visitors and this year with former Deputy Director of LDF, William Knight at the helm, and the broad spectrum of new talent, fresh ideas and innovative design, 100% Design 2012 is set to remain the essential event to visit for the industry diary.

100% Design is Britain’s most influential contemporary interiors show and as it stands it is the UK’s largest gathering of architects and interior designers. This year, 100% Design has attracted an even bigger range of UK and international brands such as Vitra, Knoll, Boss Design, Herman Miller, Magis, Lammhults, Kinnarps, Deadgood, Dare Studio and many more. Furthermore, dedicated group stands from countries ranging from France to Korea, Chile, Czech Republic, Italy, Hungary, Shenzehn and Austria are being showcased, further establishing the diversity of 100% Design.
Sunday during 100% Design was well‐known as consumer day and since the launch of LDF the offer for visitors around London has grown. It is due to this development that the consumer day will now be combined and be held on Saturday.

100% Design will revolve around a central bar, making it an ideal location for business networking. There will be four new areas; 100% Interiors, 100% Office, 100% Kitchen & Bathrooms, 100% Eco, Design & Build. Each area will have a dedicated hub space with engaging seminars and networking capabilities.

A tunnel entrance, auditorium seating 200 and dedicated area for international pavilions ‐ ensuring ease of navigation and allowing more time for business during a hectic London Design Festival and enhancing the experience for both exhibitor and visitor.

The Emerging Brands section will be showcasing the best in emerging design talent and providing a hands‐up to the next generation from the UK and overseas. New discoveries include Kirath Ghudoo, Plant & Moss, Vita, and Arthur Analts.
100% Design will host a series of live global debates, with live broadcasts from some of the most influential design studios in the world. The dedicated auditorium, seating 200, will provide industry professionals with a unique opportunity to discuss and debate with their creative heroes.
Founder of Dezeen, Marcus Fairs, is poised to curate a series of spontaneous and informal seminars focusing on design and chatting to a selection of hand‐picked exhibitors and contributors to 100% Design.
