Few objects in the history of design have had the impact as that attributable to OrganicChair, designed by Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen in 1940 for the Museum ofModern Art in New York for the competition “Organic Design in Home Furnishing”.

The chair was never produced in series due to the onset of war, but it was the reference for many subsequent sessions designed in the ’40s and ’50s by Charles and Ray Eames,Eero Sarineen that, still in time to influence the whole design .

In 2004, Vitra has reissued the following year Organic Chair and High Chair also OrganicBach. Since this year is also available Organic Conference Chair.
