Orgatec: 23th -27th  October 

Furnishing, lighting, flooring, room acoustics and communication and media technology. Orgatec is the only trade fair to present so many comprehensive solutions from all relevant sectors for working and living spaces in the office. Worldwide office furnishings and Contract Business sector represented in October in Cologne.

The focal points: international dialogue on the future of office work and practical examples from all over the world.  From 23rd to 27th October 2012, Orgatec, leading International Trade Fair for Office and Facility, is once again set to make Cologne the global sector meeting point in all things modern working spaces.

At the leading international business platform for office and facility around 600 suppliers from approximately 40 countries are expected, including in particular, market leaders and innovation drivers from the participating sectors like, for example Actiu, ANKER-Teppichboden, Artemide, atelier schneeweiss, Belux, Bene, Bert Plantagie, brühl & sippold, Brunner, Burkhardt Leitner, CARPET CONCEPT, Casala, Castelli, CITTERIO, COR / interlübke, Dansk Wilton, Dauphin, Dieffebi, Engelbrechts, Gabriel, Haworth, Heradesign, InterfaceFLOR, interstuhl, König + Neurath, Object Carpet, Palmberg, Ruckstuhl, Secto Design, Sedus Stoll, Senator, serien Raumleuchten, SINETICA, Thonet, Tobias Grau, Toucan-T, tretford, TRILUX, UNIFOR, USM, van Esch, Vitra, Waldmann, Walter Knoll, Wästberg, Wilkhahn, WINI Büromöbel or XAL.


Folding geometric lampshades by Italian furniture brand Artemide and Japanese designers Miyake Design Studio are among the products to be showcased at office furniture trade fair Orgatec 2012


Each lampshade is folded from a single piece of fabric made of recycled plastic bottles, and doesn’t need a separate frame as the fibres in the material make it self-supporting.


Other exhibiting brands include Vitra, which will be showcasing the High Work range of standing tables and high office chairs (above), and MOX who will display the steel Cobra coat rack (below).


Furniture company Bene will be launching their Docklands collection designed by PearsonLloyd (above) at the event.
