Best Design Hotels And Suites – A new trend is arising: fashion legends designing suites and hotels. My Design Week gives you the top fashion designer hotels and suites around the world.
“Among the world’s most celebrated fashion designers, there are those whose collections are so iconic and truly transformative that, given the opportunity, you would choose to live in their creations.”, says Departures.
1. St. Regis, New York City
The St. Regis in New York partnered once again with a great designer, this time was Dior (also has Tiffany and Bottega Veneta suites). The 1,700-square-foot signature suite pays tribute to the designer’s Montaigne headquarters in Paris. “ “whispering gray” shades throughout the room, bows on the entryway sconces—and adore the quintessential Louis XVI-style furniture with white carved wood framing and gold leaf accents.”

Von Furstenberg was one of the first designers to sign hotel rooms and suites. “In fall 2010, the Belgian-born businesswoman put her exuberantly patterned stamp on London’s Art Deco icon Claridge’s hotel, decking out 20 rooms and suites in full-on Furstenberg regalia.”
3. Le Notre Dame (Paris) and Christian Lacroix
