MAISON&OBJET PARIS now offers a clearer perspective of three main areas: MAISON and its wide range of interior decoration, organised into different worlds; OBJET, the show’s concept store, ideal for retailers; and finally INFLUENCES and its unique itinerary. A new offer that has been created to facilitate communication and the unearthing of new products.
Maison et Objet Paris 2018‘s brand new campaign logo was imagined by the Parisian graphic design studio Be-Pôles, enhancing the trade show’s visual identity using a colour gradient.
Like in the previous editions, the prestigious venue has already named the designer of the year, the extremely versatile Dutch designer Cecilie Manz. The Dutch designer is always experimenting and, in January, she will present her latest pieces. The exhibition will feature existing products and new designs, displayed in a warm and cosy atmosphere, a theme that is evidently delineated in her creations.
The renowned Agence Nelly Rodi is set to design the Inspirations Space and the Bookshop-Café following the concept Show-Room.
The concept emerged as the product of the investigative work conducted by Nelly Rodi’s team of consultants on a variety of social, industry and marketing topics.
Furthermore, the Rising Talent Award has been announced. Federica Biasi, Antonio Facco, Marco Lavit Nicora, Kensaku Oshiro, Federico Peri and Guglielmo Poletti will be the six Italian designers honoured at the event. Each designer was nominated by influential figures of the industry, Andrea Branzi, Giulio Cappellini, Rosita Missoni, Piero Lissoni, Luca Nichetto, and Rossana Orlandi, respectively.
Every year, visitors can expect a showcase of high-quality international offers. As a whole, the multicultural platform of contemporary living provides a source of exclusive and forward-looking information to help understand and foresee market trends.
