The city of Milan, Italy, is by these days the city to visit. The most awaited design event, Salone del Mobilie 2015, will take place from 14th to 19th April. But in the unfortunate chance you don’t have the possibility to visit one of the most important european events of the design calendar, you can soon visit the museum dedicated to legendary Italian, designer Giorgio Armani,.
The project, expected to be completed in 2015, was born from the collaboration between the fashion company and the municipality. The museum will house the designer’s permanent collection, made up of clothes, designs and photos, and will welcome temporary exhibitions thematically related to fashion, design and creativity.
The new Armani Museum will be built on Via Bergognone, the same street location as the company’s headquarters, as well as the theater that houses Giorgio Armani fashion shows. The space will be transformed from a former Nestlé factory to an area that will host a permanent exhibition of Armani’s creations and drawings, which the designer will be financing.
