From the 18th of October to the 21st, the International Fair of Contemporary Art in Paris (FIAC) will have its 39th edition. The FIAC continues to build on past editions, developing and evolving while maintaining the strong features inherent to FIAC, including a rigorous selection process, guaranteeing high-quality and its broad scope, which allows for a balanced and wide view of modern and contemporary art and works by emerging artists from all over the world.
To kick start your artistic exploration, visit the Grand Palais, the main venue of the event, where modern and contemporary art and upcoming and established artists will rub shoulders during the exhibitions organized by some 180 galleries from 24 countries.
From the Grand Palais, the next unmissable design stop is Hors Les Murs, which this year sees an extension of the programme: the development of outdoor projects in the Tuileries Garden, the Jardin des Plantes and various sites at the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle.
Also new this year is the enhancement of the programme of performances, artists’ films and the inauguration of conference programmes, along with associated projects such as R4 on Ile Seguin. All of these bare witness to FIAC’s various successful projects, all of which continue to be developed and expanded upon, now and in the years to come.
But the Fiac is more than the Grand Palais and Hors de Murs. It’s all around the city of Light!
