Nicholas Felton is a designer, entrepreneur, and artist concerned with translating quotidian data into meaningful objects and experiences. He is the author of numerous personal Annual Reports that condense the events of a year into a tapestry of maps, graphs, and statistics. The insights and techniques developed from his Annual Reports have informed his design of Facebook’s Timeline and the creation of the Reporter and Daytum applications. He has been profiled by The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times and his work is a part of the permanent collection at MoMA.

This event is open to the public.

Ink Lounge Open House

8:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Ink Lounge Screenprinting Studio
29 S Fox Street
Denver, CO 80223

Join us for a visit to Ink Lounge where you can pull a print, toast a beverage, snack from local food trucks, and learn how two graphic designers accidentally blended their design careers into a creative ink playground within a 3,700 square foot screenprinting studio. Over the past eight years, Nicky and Stu Alden, have evolved and expanded their creative studio into something unique where today they teach screenprinting workshops to all ages, print commercially for an increasing list off clients, and continue to do branding for businesses large and small. Perhaps their favorite part of the evolution — they created a community screenprinting area within their studio that is fostering a new generation of screenprinters in Denver.
