Copper & bronze have been popular throughout the home this year, but the abundance of these materials at Maison has assured us that the trend is going nowhere. Lighting remains a firm favourite for these precious metals, but there is also a lot of detailing amongst soft furnishings and decorative accessories. Mix and match different textures; shiny with burnished, and contrast against silvery tones for a fresh take.

Geometric Prints

The instantly modernising power of geometric prints shows no sign of letting up and was out in force at the show. Fabrics and wallpapers were bombarded with geometric patterns in an array of colourways from metallics to pastels. Our top tip for nailing this trend in your home is to invest in geometric print bed linen, there are already a host of designs from all of our favourite brands that will inject a fresh new look into your bedroom in an instant whilst ensuring you stay on trend even as you sleep.

Sculpted 3D pieces

Bringing substance to any interior space is often an afterthought after the main interior has been styled. But textural 3D pieces are not only set to  be a key trend for next year they will also be the perfect finishing touch to a space and should tie together all elements of the room. From oversized geometric vases, to shapely lighting and unusual decorative pieces, make sure you bring a little 3D to your living space.

Blue shades are going to be stepping up a gear from next season. Bolder, and richer blue is THE colour for 2015 and is the easiest trend to incorporate into any room. Restyle a room with blue hued walls, mixing and matching wallpapers and painted feature walls with a mixture of soft furnishings and complementing blue home accessories. Set the table in blue dinnerware to bring on-trend dining into the everyday, from dinner parties to family breakfast, blue hues will bring colour and style to every meal.
